Terry

Backflow T.O. Inc is a family-owned business. Our calibration PRO, Terry, has 47 years of experience. He graduated from the School of Metrology is the US Airforce where he served for twenty years. Once he entered the civilian world, he worked at Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services. When he emigrated to Canada, he worked at a calibration lab for over a decade and then moved on to Magellan Aerospace. During the Pandemic, Backflow T.O. Inc was launched in preparation of his pending retirement at Mageallan. Terry had always said, “I wish I could find just one area of calibration which I enjoy and have expertise, to concentrate my skill set. Backflow test kit calibration and repairs was his retirement career of choice.



MaryLenore

Terry’s partner, MaryLenore, had a prestigious career in public relations in the entertainment industry. She launched her first Toronto PR company in her early twentes. Clients included Walt Disney Records, Roy Thomson Hall and the JUNO Awards. It was so successful she moved the office to New York City in 1996. In 2001 she won the Best Independent Publicist Award at the Annual Canadian Music Awards. MaryLenore spent fifteen years in the US before moving back to Canada to care for her mother. Her PR background expertise to launch Backflow T.O. Inc. She is the Operations Manager covering quality assurance, customer relations and more. She jokes in this current position “Plumbers are my new rock stars”.
